Saint David's Episcopal Church is a warm visitor-friendly church near the Delaware and Pennsylvania border. We serve New Castle County just north of Wilmington, Delaware and southern Delaware County in Pennsylvania, just south of Chester and Philadelphia. We celebrated our 50th anniversary in November 2004. Please join us. Saint David's Episcopal Church is also home to St. David's Day School which provides quality preschool education. The Day School, which began serving the community more than 50 years ago, presently serves 160 children in its Monday-Friday program.
On this the Feast of Pentecost, we celebrate the ‘birthday’ of the
Church and our empowerment by the Holy Spirit. The first
Christians were mostly Jewish folk who came to believe that Jesus
was the long-awaited Messiah. The impact of this highly localized
religious group quickly spread and as the disciples moved beyond the
barriers of language and culture the Holy Spirit enabled them to
proclaim the Gospel in ways that listeners could understand. Today’s
church still strives to share the liberating life of Christ to people from
all walks of life.

Open our eyes to your presence and your spirit's movement, that our choices and decisions may further the gospel of Christ and be consistent with your great desire for us."
